Barclays Brand Agents

Barclays wanted help to re-energise retail staff and build brand loyalty from the inside out. Working with Start JG we created the Brand Agents, an army of volunteer brand champions from UK branches. Working closely with the Agents I devised a new editorial platform to share stories, news, inspiration and advice on putting the Barclays values into action.

Working with Start JG we created the Brand Agents, an army of volunteer brand champions from UK branches. Working closely with the Agents I devised a new editorial platform to share stories, news, inspiration and advice on putting the Barclays values into action.

I would organise and run quarterly workshops with a small group of the Agents to decide on the content for each issue. Discussing the people and brands that inspire them, news they wanted to share and the people they wanted to celebrate. I would then work with the Agents allowing them to write their own articles and guiding them through to the final edit. Alongside this I would produce additional content including interviews with other brands and entrepreneurs, updates from Barclays and any upcoming events for them to share in branch. Giving the Agents a real sense of ownership and pride in their work.
